Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Comm coin cost
Well I got a PRE ORDER form in yesterday for these coins, with no limit and no max # per household. Price: UNC $33.95 and PF $39.95, each respectfully.
Questions is, should I order from the Mint or wait to see if some of the other dealers who will get these in bulk are going to sell them cheaper?

I'm merely the keeper of fine metals.

IMO, if you want to own the issue, the best opportunity is the Mint's pre-sale.
<< <i>In the short term, I do not think that you will get them any cheaper from a dealer. Down the road, things might be different.

Uh, we have to buy them from the Mint at the same prices that you do, and then add something for the convenience of walking in and getting it immediately to give us a profit.
Then, a few years later, we get to sell most of the leftovers at a loss.
<< <i>I think you'll do better purchasing from the mint! From a dealer , they tend to cherry pick the best of the best and sell the rest.... >>
Cherry pick for what?????????

MS70 and PR70DCAM.
So, in the long run, if you're looking to fill your set, buy from the mint.
If you just want one, wait for them to be turkeys and get it for melt (odds are with you in this endeavour).

I think I essentially said what you did, but from the collectors' perspective.
I think that this one will be a loser, but nothing is guaranteed in love, war, or coins.

<< <i>The coin will be much cheaper next year. I think it is a poor design, certainly not worthy of the excellent cause that it was made to benefit. Cheers, RickO >>
As a disabled vet myself, I agree with you
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
but have you seen the picture of this coin?? Boots on one side, wreath and writing on the other.
it aint a pretty coin.

Check the order pamphlet again... I don't have mine in front of me, but I think there is a 100 coin limit for the first 30 days.
