I was going to ask the same thing. Thanks for clarifying.

What are the odds for correctly guessing 9 grades and 3 colors? Astronomical?
But yet, there are a few trying desperately to get it right!

They all look like 'artifical coloring'. At least that's what I am always told on a coin with superior toning.

If no-one gets them all, maybe you could give the prize to the one who gets the most correct or add up all the real grades and see who is the closest that way.

I will close the contest tomorrow morning. If no one has guessed all the grades correctly, then the winner will be the person to guess the most number correct with the tiebreaker being the least number of points different from PCGS and NGC. Only first guesses will be utilized.

Hey TDN--I have some friendly advice for you:

You need to get away from all this "dreck" and "modern crap", and start collecting some REAL nice coins.imageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimage

The following people got 5 right out of 9:

    relicsncoins
    jrocco
    coinguy1
    boiler78
    pqpeace

stewart in his last guess got 7 right, but in his first guess only got 4 so I'm eliminating him since he picked the Colts. image
  • tradedollarnuttradedollarnut Posts: 20,236 ✭✭✭✭✭
And of those people, everyone missed by 5 points total except our winner: PQPeace who only missed by 4 total. Congratulations!

Great coins and a very fun exercise.

One coin that looks very undergraded (in my amateur opinion) is the last coin - the 1799 dollar.

    It's graded a 64 and I guessed ms66.

    I think it's a great candidate fior a crackoutimage
