I have pulled several 1958's out of original mint sets with that exact same color reverse.....for me there is zero doubt as to the originality of the toning on that one Sy
I believe $500 is way, way to much for this coin. But I know that number is just speculation, and I think the most I would pay would be $100-200, just depending on the "in hand look"
Sorry I just don't believe this coin is a $500 Franklin. Of course I'm basing this off an image and not the coin in hand, but here's a '56 Franklin I use to own that I purchased in a double mint set for around $200. It looks similar to the OPs coin.
I cant view the pics Im curious to see what this coin looks like as i have a monster blue 56 around here somewhere and want to see if they look the same.

Yes. The case next to this one had some of the most eye catching, eye candy Morgans I've ever laid eyes on.
