<< <i>I plan on going, although the drive isn't much fun (from Salem, MA) and I usually walk away close to empty handed. Tired of seeing the same old stuff from the same old dealers who want to show their cards and not sell them. Nothing like making a fair offer (close to VCP, not SMR) bing turned down and then seeing the card again next year. It's not a museum. I find that I can usually spend the time better here on the boards or on ebay. Better deals to be had. >>
I live less than 10 minutes away from that show. I used to go all the time, but I have not been in at least 5 years or so. I bet the same crap is on the same tables from the same cruddy old dealers. I do not know what is more vintage the cards or the dealers.

<< <i>Does anyone go to the Connecticut shows each month. I am in CT and planning on going to the Universtiy of New Haven show in a few months. it is a pretty decent size show. I also go to the other CT shows each month (Plainville, Manchester, and Meriden) and have gotten to know the dealers pretty well. The only problem is i Already bought all of their vintage Yankee cards that I need. >>
I live in Farmington, CT and have been to the Plainville and the Meriden shows. I spent a grand total of 15 minutes at the Plainville show and thought it would be worth coming back to just for one vendor. I spent 10 minutes at the Meriden show and will never return. I wanted to try and get to all the CT shows this year but after the Meriden show I decided it wasn't worth it.
