Does anyone actually LIKE the Pro Bowl?

I am always surprised to find myself seemingly in the minority when it comes to liking the Pro Bowl.
There appears no shortage of fans, even die hards, who think this game is an absolute waste and don't bother to watch.
I enjoy the history of it, the fans getting a voice in the (admittedly often flawed) voting, and the recognition it gives to outstanding "non-skilled" position players.
If nothing else, it has historically been the last glimpse of NFL football before heading into the dark abyss that is the off season... the last chance to get my fix!
Personally, I hope the NFL moves it back to where it belongs... in Hawaii and after the Super Bowl.
Anyone else agree?

Like it this week much better. This way the league can take advantage of their highest point, rather than trying to stretch itself into a 12 month sport. The two week break between the Conference Championship and the Super Bowl is just too much down time. The Pro Bowl sells the NFL product a lot better than another interview with Archie Manning
I too like the Pro Bowl. They can just rack up those points and I love to see it. Like Brett said, it's not like a "real" game, but for what they do I watch every minute!
<< <i>I do not like it. Since teams are essentially prohibited from playing defense, it's not like watching "real" football. You will often see players on both sides of the ball giving half-hearted effort similar to a pre-game walk through. I certainly don't blame them, though. Football is simply not a game that lends itself well to postseason exhibition play. >>
Well said. Just can't find it interesting at all. I've tried, but turn away. The only all-star type event I tune in for is the baseball all-star game. It's probably the only one where the participants play close to full speed. I even like the home run derby.
Yuk.
It's on now?
maybe I'll tune in and check it out.

The MJD thing with the mascots after the TD was kinda amusing.

I enjoy it for what it is intended to be - an Honor to have been selected as among the very best at what they've done during the season.
It gives the players the opportunity to let their hair down, to enjoy the comraderie and to have fun with players they've played against all Season.
It's about fun .... a reward for jobs well done.
Since nobody wants to play in it, and the ratings (I assume) are terrible, why don't they just turn into a skills competition? I'd much rather watch the QBs try to hit a bullseye 40 yards downfield or WRs do speed-catching drills rather than a sorry excuse for a football game.
It's a Game but nowhere close to the reality or closeness of a true competitive/ meaningful tilt.
It's a Good Time for those that earned such Honor to have been selected "All Pro."
