Around what ballpark would a anacs grade 1916-D VG-8 dime be worth. I might be ableto get it for 5-6 hundred range.

    That seems like a good price to me for a 6 [edit: or an 8]

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

    if u pay $500 for it that is a great price, I would do it as u can always sell it for a few hundred bucks profit.

    If the strike on the reverse is solid (minimal to no wear into the letters at the rims) then it should easily sell for $1000+

    Problem free with nice appeal in that grade and holder will easly bring $1000.00

    That's a great deal...AGs sell for the $500-600 range.
    Positive BST transactions with: too many names to list! 36 at last count.

    Obverse looks nice for an 8. I would definitely buy it, and flip it for a few hundred dollars profit.
