Die Clash 2 Buffalos

Looking at some of my Buffalos and I find 2 that are pictured. They both have the same markings under the chin and above the nose. Is this common for the Buffalos ? I have found 4 so far.

I guess the pictures could be better. Thanks for looking.

Fairly common, it's clashed with the E. Pluribus Unum, the whisker variety. Very cool

I'm not of any sites, but 'The Authoritative Reference on Buffalo Nickels' is full of information about double dies, repunched mint marks and abraided die varities and would get a good resource if that is where your interests lie.

Die clash of all kinds is very common in this series. In fact, I see additional clash halfway up the Indian's nose and behind his eye in the second image. I'll bet if you look on the reverse of your nickels between E.PLURIBUS UNUM and the Buffalo's back, you'll see additional clash as well.

i bought a 1915 with that kind of clash.
didnt pay any premium as the seller didnt note it
and i didnt see it til i got it home.
