<< <i>Did you not get the other card I sent you? Did you not admit that I obviously have high integrity since I had the opportunity to just keep your money since you sent without delivery confirmation? Did I not send your $30 to stown plus another $10 just for snorts and giggles? >>
All of those things are completely true, yet completely UNRELATED to our original deal Bill. Yes? You DID make good on a totally seperate deal (nice card too!), thanks. You DID send an extra sawbuck to the charity...awesome. But what about our 1st deal Bill? You said it would be destroyed as soon as you got the cash. 7 days is NOT "as soon as". I even PM'd you that you could go ahead and sub the card IF you matched my donation to stown's charity. My gut feeling is that you subbed the card.....you couldnt resist the urge. Why else would it take a week to destroy something that was supposed to be done immediately?
<< <i>Am I in the Twilight Zone??? Why do people think it's funny and/or cool to renege on deals with money involved? >>
This is exactly how I feel. I paid for something through the BST. The seller has decided to just blow me off. I complain here and everyone thinks its "no big deal". >>
Add me to the group that's confused as to why this kind of behavior is "OK". Terms were offered, terms were accepted, money changed hands, and terms haven't been followed. How is the "buyer" wrong?
<< <i>So what exactly makes me a crybaby by creating this thread? I have been wronged, via the BST, by an established member. Its hard to imagine that the lack of integrity is so rampant here that people want to make a joke out of this SERIOUS INFRACTION. Bill has had 7 days since receiving payment and has stated IN HIS OWN BST THREAD, that "the card will be destroyed as soon as payment is made". Well, here we are a full week after he got the payment. Yet nothing has happened. He has obviously hedged my $30 to sub the card. If real, he makes twice that or more. If fake, he is out $4. Is that the type of person you want to ever deal with on the BST? A deal is a deal....I did my part, and Bill should do his. >>
Actually Artie said, "wahhh". What makes you a crybaby are the constant calls for attention by posting new threads to bash Bill after your previous attempts to do so were locked by the CU Mods. You're spouting off about thieves and stolen money when in the end, you just didn't get your way as quickly as you wanted. I'm sure Bill isn't going to sully his good reputation here over your $30 that he has already sent to charity per your agreement.

Im in no way bashing Bill. Im simply left without other options than to make this public as Bill has dodged my Pm's for as long as he has had my money concerning this issue. And its not about "getting my way as quick as I wanted". It was Bill's very own terms to destroy that card immediately. Go look at the BST thread title. It doesnt say he will destroy the card as soon as it comes back from PSA, does it?
Excuse me for working for a living and also having a life. Haven't found the time to entertain you as much as I would like. Why don't you start another thread asking for suggestions on how to destroy it?
<< <i>Why don't you start another thread asking for suggestions on how to destroy it? >>
That's a good question, because if there's one thing we've learned about gecko109, it's that he's good at creating the same topic over and over on the board.

why dont you just rip it in two and post a quick scan?

Apparently he can post on these boards whenever he wants, but he has no time to rip a card in half. The back-peddling going on by him and his cronies is quite amusing.
Ask a mod to verify that. I have NEVER used an alt. I may seem like a crybaby to some of you, but my integrity is at the very highest level. I once sold a coin to another forumite for $35 and then found out BEFORE I mailed it that it was a $900 coin (got an offer of that much from another member). I sent the coin out for the 35 bucks and chalked it up to lack of experience. I have dozens of other examples of which I can provide you proof of my integrity on these boards. Using an alt is a scumbag thing to do, its just not me.

I think he believes that simply saying makes it true.

I was going to bump your thread where you held an ebayer hostage over $3 but it was locked. Funny, most of the threads you have started are now locked.

I saw that... that was pretty lame. But why are you here typing this and not destroying the card he payed you to destroy? I just don't get your hesitance to do something someone paid you to do. Everyone here says you are an upstanding guy, but you are not acting like one in this situation. I don't know you personally, so all I have to go on is your actions here.
I don't have a dog in this fight, but I have noticed that Gecko may be even more pompous than me... At least I don't go around posting anecdotes about how honest I am or how I have "morals in spades." I figure that my actions over the years speak for themselves, but Gecko spends more time blowing happy smoke up his own bunghole that I'm getting sick on the second-hand smoke...
Anyway, Bill should settle his end of the dispute and post images of the destroyed card and Gecko should return to the coin forums, hold them hostage for returning an item shipped in error and play with his fire engine cards... Then we can all return to peace and harmony and I can resume my role as the pompous, elitist, know-it-all on the board.
<< <i>In before the lock... Didn't it take a while for the original payment to get to bill? >>
Not really. It took about as long as one might expect when a letter gets deposited into a mailbox a couple days before a postal holiday weekend. Got anything else?
This has gone on long enough and I am sick and tired of it taking over the boards. If a deal has been made complete it. And just to stop it before it happens I don't want any PM's from anyone on who said this and who said that....he did this..he did that... just quit dragging this out..
There are 2 parties involved and they know what was agreed upon or wasn't.Just settle it once and for all.

Poor baby.
gecko you're a little drama queen, and your petty BS led to all this crap.
Why don't you go after every single person that ever sold an unauthenticated auto? Why the big focus on Bill?
And why all the narrow minded pamper filling BS about "the card has to be destroyed"? Is the world at stake?
I think a refund is in order. And shut up about your "deal". It was made because of your drama and slander.

No....just a man's integrity is all. I paid to have the card destroyed immediately, to ask for what I paid for isnt too much I dont think. Do you?
<< <i>Go look at the BST thread title. It doesnt say he will destroy the card as soon as it comes back from PSA, does it? >>
It also doesn't say that he'll destroy the card as soon as he received the cash from you.
Attention to detail really isn't your thing, is it?

Ok, here is the EXACT title:
1992-93 Upper Deck BB Heroes Wilt Chamberlain auto - BEING DESTROYED as soon as Stown receives charitable donation
The donation was received by stown's charity a week ago. Now tell me why the card has not been destroyed yet?
