    My first SD game watched this year. Is there always so much showmanship with them? They act like a bunch of cheerleaders every time they make a routine play.

    The Jets have been incredibly unfortunate over the last several weeks. Between finishing the regular season against two playoff teams that didn't care (helping them hose the Steelers and Texans) and all these missed field goals, it's a charmed life.

    The Jets have been incredibly unfortunate over the last several weeks.

    I think you mean fortunate, but beating two playoff teams on the road, including one that had won 1 1straight and was the pick of many to win the Super Bowl, is not "fortunate" it's just an incredible achievment for a tough team with the #1 D.

    Normally I'd say that takes them out of field goal range, but right about now anything beyond an extra point might be out of Kaeding's ability.

    No disrespect against the Jets defense intended, but they've been awfully lucky that their opponents seem tol forget how to kick field goals against them.

    I think that was a stupid decision to onside kick. The Chargers still had a time out AND the 2:00 warning. They could have got the ball with at least a minute left if the Jets didn't get a first down.

    Terrible call by Turner - Ya kickoff and back up the rookie quarterback as far as possible and hope he panics a bit in that situation. Also the Chargers in that 4th Q were using the clock like they had the lead!
