As much scrutiny as MLB is under regarding 'roids, will the NFL be next?

This thought just occurred to me. Okay, we all know how much scrutiny that MLB and some of it's players have come under regarding 'roids and other PEDs. That being said, how come not a peep (yet) is being mentioned about PEDs in the NFL? After all, the NFL is known for its very big strong players (especially offensive/defensive linemen) so I have no doubt that if athletes in the Olympics and MLB have used PEDs, then I have no doubt that there has to be many NFL players then and now who could be using PEDs.

Or has the NFL long ago addressed this issue and is doing testing?

Think the NFL tests, as do the olympics. Most of the time the tests seem to be one step behind the athletes. If someone is going to cheat, they will find a way to cheat.

I don't think anyone wants to see 200 pound linemen in the NFL. The NFL will always get a free pass from fans. Terry Bradshaw said he used steroids and no one cared. It's just that kind of a sport. They want big gladiators and not baseball players.

Steroids are a bigger deal in baseball because statistics are considered to be a holy grail of why the
sport exists at all along with the hall of fame and neither of those things are as big a deal in the NFL.

The customers, congress and media do not care about the health of NFL players, therefore they demand much less scrutiny than they do for baseball players
