20 must be an awkward age now. At 20 I had moved from Missouri to Chicago to attend the U of Chicago and I had full voting, drinking, and other adult rights since 18. Now they don't trust you. I'm raising two kids and I've found the way to make them responsible is to give them responsibility with expectations of execution. They never fail if you make yourself clear. My 9 yr old son sometimes complains I'm giving him too much responsibility and want to stay a kid for longer.
