That's funny, I read the "scumbag seller" comment, and I instantly knew it was SJJ before I clicked on the link. lol
  • WOW Shipping is $60 for 1 card?!!?

    A little over priced.
  • How do you turn a $20 card into a $2700 card? Forge an auto on it and hand # it 4/4.

    My thoughts?
It's a genuine auto that's worth about 50 bucks, together with a cut up piece of jersey that is now worthless, sold by a seller who's a piece of sh*t, to a buyer who has no clue.

My thoughts exactly. Considering the seller, I wouldn't touch it.

We do not believe in negative feedbacks so we do not leave them.

I wonder what his belief was when he was able to leave them?

Even if it were a legit card ... are you kidding me?

Give me a nice looking '51 Bowman Mantle (PSA 3 or 4) and I might even have enough money left over to buy quite a few of Sir Charles' other autos! (And a few cases of Heinekens to drink and laugh at the buyer of the other card! LOL)
    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

I doubt it is even a legit sale.

If legit, that should make the top ten stupidest buys for 2009. $2700 for Barkley?

    "Molon Labe"

  • While I think the price paid is crazy, that is the rarest certified Barkley Auto you can find and legit if the seller does indeed have the card. Barkley has not done a certified auto in over a decade and has not done many game used jersey cards either in a similar time frame.

His other certified autos typically go for ~500. Seeing Paninni's autograph offerings to date, I would not hold my breath for another Barkely certified for at least another 4-5 years if ever at all. He also does not do TTM or private signings open to the public to my knowledge.

I am happy with my PSA/DNA example for the time being....

That might depend on whether or not Charles can stay away from Vegas

For that much money, even if it was legit I would rather have a GU jersey (not just a little patch) and about $1,500 in my pocket.
Don't like the tiny sig - personally like the one I have up on ebay more.
Looking for rare Randy Moss rookies and autos, as well as '97 PMG Red Football cards for my set.
