No chain cent..my earliest is a 1798...A chain cent would knock my socks off!

i was detecting an area once, where the early california pioneers travelled. several large cents and early coins have been found there. so i got this signal and dug a coin. the first side i see looks exactly like a chain cent. i was about ready to get really excited about possibly finding a super rare coin in CA. then i turned it over and found that it was a bank deposit token from the 1980's.
