I am thinking this might be a mechanical error of some type?? Surely that can't be a 66?? I mean no disrespect to the owner but that grade is way out there.
God Bless It .... why do people...even people who have been in this business for years and should know better... continue to critique a coin from a pic and actually take the critique seriously????
Why I ask you .... WHY?
edited because I forgot something ..... see, grading from pics is not a serious matter... it is fun and frivolous at best...
Re: Slabbed coins - There are some coins that LIVE within clear plastic and wear their labels with pride... while there are others that HIDE behind scratched plastic and are simply dragged along by a label. Then there are those coins that simply hang out, naked and free
I figure a "guess the grade" thread is open for all opinions.
I think the coin graded 62FH to begin with because it had such great eye appeal, but that rub on the leg prevented a higher grade. Now, the experts see it again and overlook it completely.

I am in no way convinced that is rub... the pics were not taken by an expert... and he admits to not having the best lighting set-up... I will get to see the coin in hand this Sunday... I am really curious and looking forward to it...
