Trimmed or no trimmed?

Something about the "bottom" edge just dont look right to me.

Am I seeing things here, or does the bottom edge appear to be thinner on the left and thicker on the right? The top edge looks uniform, so im ruling out tilt. Trimmed or no trimmed?

  • You are correct, sir. Toward the left side of the border I measured 27 pixels of total white border (top and bottom) while there is 31 pixels of total border on the right side.

My opinion is miscut from the factory.

If you rotate the card to a horizontal view it appears that the left border and top border both have sort of a trapezoidal look, while the right border and bottom border are both straight and square.

The seller is 4SCs dumping ground for cards that are ungradeable/not worth grading, so I'd only buy it if you plan to keep it raw.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
  • The card was on sale yesterday for just a C-note. I almost pulled the trigger, but then got cold feet at the thought it may have been trimmed. I have wanted this card for awhile.

With the miscut and the many print defects, I would not buy that card. When a PSA 7 goes to true auction you should be able to get it for around $125.

Excellent advice and the exact reason I decided to pass on this card.
