<< <i>I'll give you VCP average which is about $60 for all of them >>
Out of curiosity, what does VCP have on the last two cards??? LOL
In all honesty though, what does VCP have on the 88 All-Star? You're offer got me curious and I just found that the last three on eBay closed for an average of ~$20.50... ouch, shouldn't have bought earlier in the year when he went into the HOF. I paid $54.38 for mine
Pointless to give these away, so I must decline your offer, but will adjust my numbers accordingly to reflect the ~$30.00 loss on the All-Star, but I've got roughly eBay average into the other one's (shipping not accounted for buying separately via that route).
Thanks

No. A "good offer" is one that is made via PM. What Bill is doing (and has done in at least 1 other BST post) is trying to embarass the OP. I think it is rude to say the least. Bill, if you really want to make an offer in earnest, why not PM the seller? Otherwise, if you think the price is out of line...just move along lil fella.
<< <i>Sounds like LSU is looking out for others here. I appreciate that. >>
Yet he likes to call others "hall monitor" and such. Why dont we have LSU go through every single BST and let us know if he approves or disaproves the terms within? Better yet, lets get a list together of the 400+ cards he has in his ebay store with his asking prices on the left, and current VCP prices on the right? Nothin worse than a hipocrit.
...except perhaps people that repeatedly take things too personally and make much ado of nothin.
My offer was in no way a shot at the seller. I will gladly give him $60 for the cards which seems like a more than fair offer.
If I see someone that has something priced way higher than VCP then I'll ask them why they have it so high or make an offer for VCP if it's something I'm interested in. It's kind of like all the ridiculous BIN's on ebay. Sometimes I'll pm the seller and ask what is special about their particular item that makes it worth double what the other ones are.
If that is wrong of me, oh well.
As a non-member of VCP, I appreciate when people share the VCP values on cards here! I simply took what I had in the cards and knocked ~$15 off that number... I had no idea the 1988 Fleer All-Star had tanked so much in the last 6-12 months. Thus, I've now lowered the price to ~$35 what I've got into the lot.
Looking at VCP averages and/or recent eBay sales... I figure the current market price on the lot to be about $72. Factor in shipping as a lot vs. shipping from individual auction wins... my price is fair, but perhaps still a few bucks high... but with a the 88AS currently less than half it's market price from ~6 months ago... I'll stick to my price.
If I have to keep them and hold them until I realize a price I'm happy with... so be it

LMAO - I've done that myself! Most recently, with the $1,300 BIN on a 1992 Stadium Club Brett Favre PSA 10! Thankfully, another fine seller posted one up in auction format that I was able to win for a messly $455

Just imagine if Bill went through every single BST listing and commented on the seller's asking prices. Its poor ettiquette. Pass or play, or make an offer in PM. To openly critisize someone's asking price is to play "hall monitor". And thats something Bill claims to despise.
He does it again here.
I have no problem with people that have stuff a few bucks above average VCP or even at the high end of VCP. What gets me is when someone has a card priced so ridiculous that it just comical. While it's certainly their right to price it however they want, it is also my right to point and laugh at them.

Reality called. He misses you.
Why would I go through every BST listing commenting on the sellers asking price?
