Morgans purchased from Pawn shop

1st off. Merry Christsmas all,
Had to go to a pawn shop on the outskirts of atlanta with my mother and saw these in the store. Guy said he had had em over a month and coins werent popular for him so I could buy em at 17.40 spot price. So i went thru the 15 or so he had and picked out 4 that were in Au-BU shape from what i could tell. One was a toner with a near cameo appearance. please let me know what you think. I also added the rough 1877 qaurter i got for $5. sorry the photos arent the greatest. of of them minus the quarter have a nice sheen.

Seems like you got a good deal, even junk Morgans at $17.40 isn't bad. Those Morgans are nice, especially for that price.
<< <i>i payed $17.40 each for em. >>
I thought you paid 17.40 spot silver price... That would have made them 13.40 melt value...
Not to bad, but I can see why you didn't buy the others now....
don't send them to ANACS, use the money to buy more dollars
<< <i>Coins like that gain very little value from slabbing, as stated above you are better off leaving them raw especially since you can handle them with little chance of hurting value. It is always nice to be able to enjoy the weight and feel of an old coin in hand!! >>
I agree.
