Help me! I've fallen and can't ...

Good grief, look at all the red on the dime sets! Today 14 sets out of 41 have red next to them! I add a coin and wind up nowhere because "Jim's Mercury set" rockets ahead...indeed, I wind up waiting to fall another place because ole Quattro has some dimes up his sleeve. Ptvetter (whom I keep an eye upon because I know he'd jump past me with a laugh and with NO mercy) adds a couple of coins only to fall victim to Fatrat and Jim's Mercury collection and thereby not move anywhere. Linda and Ray (tggr) is moving up and is getting within striking distance of my poor collection. Plus I am watching with a wary eye "R.S. Gore" as he continues to add dimes, two at a time. And, I'm not even thinking about those collections so far ahead of me that I need a telescope to see them.

All I can say is that if this set of coins was a horse race, my nag would be (slowly!) ambling over to a glue factory!

    My plan is to declare each of my coins as a dependent (I provide security and shelter) and get a big Refund from Uncle Sam image. Then I can really rocket (Maybe three at a time) LOL

    Again I say to all where are all the proper signals? Too many people passing my with out using them. The penalty is you must send me a dime that my set needs. Send Soon.

    Mark, you should have been a sports announcer. Your commentary on today's standings sounds like you're calling a horse race. image I love it! Thought I was seeing spots in front of my eyes when I looked at the Merc sets - all that red! I won't be buying much over the next few weeks unless something really irresistable comes along.

    Hats off to PCGS: I entered my latest coins in the registry while home for lunch today around 12:30. When I looked an hour later, they were already added! Someone's really on top of things.

    You Guys in the #11 through #17 must be on Pins and Needles every Friday afternoon when the updates are posted.image Truely a Great Competition that is going on with much Fun thrown in that is enjoyed by All in our Registry. All of you probably should not forget about a couple of other sets that are just below you also.

        I'm truely amazed and saddened by the relative ease that these coins are being added.It takes me time and $'s to add to my Lincoln Proofs.How do you guys keep doing it? Are you selling the children or the house?imageimage

        Well I feel fine right where I am, because I have Home Land security with thier road blocks to prevent anyone from passing me, that does protect Jon and Ken also from being passed. It will take a court order to get these gate opened in order to pass...imageimage

        I'm Stuck Also. Its getting to the point where what I want is a $500 Bill or more. Almost for certain no additions will be made untill after April 15.imageimage Just got Killed on Taxes again. More so the State than Federal.image Only a Few more years and I will Finally get all of the Senior Citizen Stuff.imageimage Jeez. Is that Good or Bad?image

          There's quite a spread between positions #6 and #7. It will take a lot of effort and $$ to reach the level of the current top 6 Merc sets. Those are some nice sets that separate the men from the boys, but with all of the additions everyone's making in this series, I think some of the "boys" will be maturing before the year is over.
