I guess 1/2 dozen times in the past few weeks I've been able to locate coins guys have VERY RECENTLY asked me to find, so I send them a detailed message, photos, sales history, prices, and I get absolutely no response.

Ok, I get the message. You don't want the coin. But at least give me the courtesy of "NO thanks".
