green color on silver

any way to clean the green color off silver and make it look back to how it should be ??

    A pic would help. Might be PVC contamination. Try acetone which should not harm any toning.

  • Acetone will work. I use koinsolv which is just as good.

    Your going to remove a beautifull emerald tone from a coin.Post a picture before

  • acetone did remove the green, now they look like the mint just made them . how to dull them up ?

    Did you rinse them well after dipping? If not, they will dull very shortly. Cheers, RickO

    You can't take a picture of what was. Only what is.
    So we are all guessing that you need to rinse better and get some Saflip's to keep your coins in.
