sorry for delay, winners contacted

In the spirit of the season, I would like to take the time to say thanks to all. Plain and simple, give back to those
who have given so much over the years. So the deal here is simple-post a pic, or a quick story, antecdote (did I spell that right?)
something holiday related-best YN reply will get a 2009 proof set-please note in your reply YN or ROOTH- ROOTH prize will be a real spanky
MS66 1952 Washington made by Lucy Bop a few years back, a real nice coin.

anyone can venture a guess as to what ROOTH means (YN or ROOTH) first to figure out what that stands for will get
something else, TBDLimage

winners will be random picked friday night the 18th around 6 pm est

Really old, over the hill - which my knees feel like, but the rest of me probably doesn't qualify as (being a mere pup of 27). I suppose I'm closer to a YN than a ROOTH. Or am I a baby ROOTH?

One of my favorite Christmas trees was one my dad and I cut down up in the woods behind our home one winter when I was 10-12. We were in the process of moving to another state, but still owned the house, so we headed there around the week before Christmas. Clearly, there wasn't a Christmas tree, so we decided to go cut down a pine up on the hill. It wasn't as pretty as anything you'd buy, but I will never forget the opportunity to be with my Dad while we went to get it. Anyway, there's a little Christmas memory.

    Thanks for the chance!

Enter me in the ROOTH giveaway please.

My story is 51 (nearly 52) years old. I was born 3 days before Christmas and as it happend, my parents brought me home from the hospital on Christmas day. As the story goes, they laid me under the tree to which my brother and sister promptly said, "Is this all we get?"

As and aching and hurting 57 year old, I'm in the over the hill category.

To much abuse in the 60's and early 70's when I thought that I was immortal.

BTW that would make my birth year 1952. What a coincidence.
