<< <i>I nominate bobsbbcards. Everytime there is a thread about something few people know, he comes right in with a scan or some history shedding light on that issue. The guy is just a well of knowledge.

Favorite thread/poster is fergie for ripping stuff and always sharing it with us.

Storm is like our attorney here at CU.

And godforbid, someone gets banned and starts posting again under alts, we got nam and lsu to watch our backs and torture the guy. >>

I change my vote , sorry Storm and Bill but Roger is right Bob Fisk is a machine when it comes to sportscards.

There's quite few really good contributors here and most were mentioned in posts above.

If I go by dedicated tireless posts with contributions on just about everything from ebay to ice boats - I would go with Stormy this year.

I don't post like I used to - but my heart will always be with CU.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Bob Fisk, another very worthy candidate, you need to see some obscure issue? Or have a question about one?

    Bob provides both.

    Steve
    Good for you.

I agree with everyone that nominated Storm. He always writes very thorough and informative posts. Truly an asset to the board.

  • I must admit I was torn between (storm) and (mintacular) but mintacular mysteriously upped and left us--sort of like Rafael "let me make myself perfectly clear" Palmeiro.

So I vote for Storm. Seriously though he makes life on these boards alot easier of us and I sincerely thank him.image

I would vote for Storm8888888 (okay, I'm not sure how many 8's there are), but I'm afraid he would just refuse the vote again, so I won't. I would like to thank him for all of the help he's provided to people on these forums. He is a tremendous resource.

My choice for poster of the year would be Felicia (IJustLoveCards). Her amazing collection is surpassed only by her incredible generosity. Hopefully, she will be able to post more and continue her 1952 venture with increased energy once her business dealings are complete.

And a quick thank you to the guys who mentioned me. I definitely don't post enough to be in the running, but it was very nice enough to be thought of. I do realize that John mentioned me just to make sure he stays in my will...... image

Storm888 gets my vote as well.

I'd like to give an honorable mention to summerof68 who uncovered all those pack resealers on Ebay this summer. His detective work was thorough and concise, and hopefully saved a lot of people from getting ripped off.
