I guess by writing to Kosar, he put me on a mailing list. The other day I received a paper selling Kosar signed Browns items.
I think I'll have to send some more cards out and resend a few others. This project is slowing way down.
I currently have over 20 MIA's and several of them are good signers. I have also seen on other sites where people have sent requests after me and received back signatures.
Some of them have been out for over six months, and even from last year when I started sending them out.
I have a LOT that have been outstanding for over one year ... I am sure most I will not get back, but I still keep the faith that I'll get back some of them!

I received my 1976 Nat Moore RC back signed. This one was a re-send, because the first request was out for over a year. This one came back in about ten days.
My other return is my "custom" 1972 Bob Heinz. The reason I say custom is because Heinz has no real card, his only issue is a stamp from 1972, which is too small for a good signature. I picked up that stamp (along with several others) from the B/S/T board and scanned them in. Once I did that, I played with the size and printed them on card stock then trimmed them to standard card size. They came out pretty nice. I am really looking forward to getting these back.
Have you sent many out recently? I have really slacked in sending them out. ONE OF THESE DAYS I have to get back into it heavily.

NEVER lose faith! I don't send them out anymore, but back from 1988-1997 or so I would send out about 500 requests a year. I got a Kelly Tripucka signed card back after 8 1/2 years. I got Mike Singletary after almost 6 years. Michael Walter was written twice with no response. I got them both back on the same day (one was almost 6 years old and the other was over 3 years old). Jim Rice was also one that showed up after more than 3 years. Fastest ever - Ron Swoboda - ONE day. Not sure how it was possible, but I mailed it out on a Tuesday morning and got it in my mailbox on Wednesday.
Nice Sammie Smith, he was a player that could have been great but Cocaine ruined his career and much of his life. I got Otis Birdsong back after 4 years and Jake Plummer took 5 years, that is my record out of a few thousand TTMs.

Not a TTM but once I sent an ebay item to a winner that lived about 30 minutes away from me. I dropped it at the PO in the morning, by the time I got home from work I had positive FB.
My quickest ever TTM was (I think) two or three days.
Has anyone else ever seen a signed John Offerdahl rc before? I picked this up at the National for $5....which I thought was a steal. I've tried TTM 4 or 5 times and he has kept my rc every time...even if I've sent 3 or 4 extra rc for him to keep.

offerdahl finally signed an RC for me TTM about a year ago on my 3rd or 4th try with him. i remember there were a few of us on SCN that finally got him. not sure if he still signs them or is back to switching them out for other cards. I was always pretty sure that would end up being the last one i needed for my 87 set.

The other day I got home and checked the mail. I saw a familiar envelope in the box and I wondered who was in it.
When I opened it up I was surprised.
On 6/27/13, I received my 1982 Glenn Blackwood back, I sent it out on 1/4/2010.
