New Degussa pick-up

Ok, so its probably (definately) NOT made from any type of precious metal, but for 7 bucks on the bay, I couldnt resist adding this to my growing Degussa collection. I now have a 100g gold bar, 50g gold bar, 20g gold bar, 3 of the 10g gold bars, a 50g silver bar, a 10g platinum bar, and this here plate. And thats all I need, I dont need anything else!

I sometimes see that design counterstruck into the old poured Engelhard bars. Very interesting! Never knew what it was till I just now made the connection.

It's ironic that this medal shows someone extracting a tooth considering the history of Degussa melting and refining gold teeth during WWII.

Does anyone have a translation of the inscription? Very neat medal for a very good price.
