So, my Breen Encyclopedia got attacked!

By our new puppy.... she decided that it was her new chew toy, and one corner is now chewed into. I'm considering unbinding it and making it into a pdf but it would take forever and a day to do that. Any suggestions?

    It' s not on google.

Suggest rebinding it - the binding on the book is notoriously weak and will soon split anyway.

Yea, I'd have to say that the binding was already breaking, the spine that is. The part that got chewed on was one of the outside corners. And, I believe they had to take it off the google or whatever site it was on.

Think of it as a puppy eating an end table or chewing on it. The price of puppies. I would just buy a new book and sell the old one. It is only $100. I wish I only spent that much on puppy damage... but I do love my Lhasas!

My frogs would never do such a thing. Plus, they're toned image

Your frogs are PVC toned ! That explains the green slime.

Your puppy is happy that you did not have Amazon Kindle.

The puppy was just trying to protect your kids from Breen's "other side."

Think of your copy as being "personalized."

Good point there Roger. Anyhow, the book wasn't in that great of shape to begin with... I've owned it for about 20 years and it's been well used! Anyhow... that darn dog always has one foot in the pound anyhow! image

Having it ring bound at Staples, Office Depot, or Kinko’s is only $4 and then it is easier to use...

You could even break it into several parts such as rearranging things to add all of the different Bust coins into one volume, just an idea...

Go to Early United States Coins - to order the New "Early United States Half Dollar Vol. 1 / 1794-1807" book or the 1st new Bust Quarter book!

Recommend you have this done with the book, not the puppy.

Curse those little chewing varmints. I have a 7 month old Airdale that is killing me. It can't go 5 steps without having something in his mouth the kids left on the floor.
If I say something in the woods, and my wife isn't around. Am I still wrong?

I don't know Roger, doing that to the puppy is very tempting!

Is it the same rate for dogs?

Might've smelled some of the BS in it and decided she needed to roll in it....

Seriously, just buy another copy. It's not worth the trouble of making a PDF. Plus, books are cool.

Not a bad idea, but this one is still usable. The thing about pdf format is that it would be word searchable and you could put tabs where ever you wanted. I think that would be pretty cool.

I saw that the book was available online for free somewhere. I was shocked when I saw it but I didn't retain the web site since I own the book.

1200 pages an hour. Don't think they have a price sheet online though.
