Has anybody seen "The Blind Side" ?

Went to see this last night. I don't care much for movies, eh but this one was OK. Personally didn't care that for most of the movie they made him out to be overly pathetic.

I wonder how the sale of his cards are going with the release of this movie.

IMO this was a really good movie. It is based on a true story out of Memphis. The movie was uplifting, and it shows the goodness in some people and the potential that all people have if given the opportunity to succeed. Also, Sandra Bullock looked hot as a blond.

Always looking for Mantle cards such as Stahl Meyer, 1954 Dan Dee, 1959 Bazooka, 1960 Post, 1952 Star Cal Decal, 1952 Tip Top Bread Labels, 1953-54 Briggs Meat, and other Topps, Bowman, and oddball Mantles.

Took my 9yr old to see it,both of us thought it was great.I did read where Mike ohr [I think]
did say the only thing he didn't like was he played football since he was 8yrs. old,so it wasn't
quite like he showed up in H.S. learned everything.Sandra bullock was smoking hot in the movie.

Few movies work for my whole family -- wife, 15-yr old son, 12-yr old daughter, and grandma -- this one definitely did.

I thought it was great -- I now hate the Ravens a little less image

I took the whole family a couple of weeks ago and we all enjoyed it.
  • Went over Thanksgiving weekend with the whole "extended" family of about 20 people. Everyone enjoyed it and now my wife asks... when are the Ravens playing? 40 thumbs up... (2 per person) imageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimage

My wife and I both really enjoyed it. Our kids are too young so they didn't go. My neighbor took his 12 year old son, who is very into sports, and the kid couldn't stop talking about it. Thumbs up!

Saw it w/ the wife and even though I knew the entire story from when he was drafted
I liked it, and so did she. Though I thought it more resembled a TV movie then one you see in a theatre.

GREAT movie, one everyone can enjoy. Saw a lot of real stinkers this year so it was nice to see something this well done.

    "Molon Labe"

  • All sports movies are pretty bad. The book was very good by intertwining the story of Michael Oher with football theory. Everything I've heard about the movie makes it likely that they cut out half of what made the book good, can't imagine this movie being anything other than Rudy III

  • Lifetime movie of the week quality writing (thats not a compliment by the way) A nice true story, but Bullock's accent disappears on occastion and her blond hair makes me ill.
