    Good information for neophytes. Most experienced numismatists know this. It is good that it gets published though, entry level collectors are usually weak on research and big on buying. Cheers, RickO
  • I think it's a good start for a newb, but it doesn't get into grading. Often the seller grades things higher than they are and the buyer grades things lower, even if they are in slabs.

  • You guys are right. This is a must read for anyone who has never done it, but probably not very applicable to most members of this forum, who tend to be concentrated in the upper 10% (at the most) of the market.
