my most treasured coin- a $20 Saint.

My Dad gave me this a few years ago. He bought it when he graduated from medical school in 1966 as a reward. He and my Mom went to Rarcoa and picked out the best one they could find for $50(this is the price they remember). It was taken in the burglary this summer and I never thought I would see it again but it was recovered and was never taken out of the holder by the thiefs. I hope you enjoy the pictures but please DON'T put a grade on it. This is one coin I don't ever want to focus on a grade and not the coin it self.

I do suggest that you get that high grade saint in to PCGS. IF for no other reason that to prove
authenticity and grade. Without those you get bullion value if it ever leave again. Just a precaution
and a wise one to consider.

Grade is irrelevant. The history of that coin makes it priceless. I think, though, that you should record the history of the coin and keep it with the coin, such the two can be simultanously passed down to the next generation. Kind of your own family pedegree.

Great 1923-D. They are usually well struck and the last affordable mintmarked coin in the double eagle series.

I will have a hard time parting with mine eventually and am glad to see you got yours back.
