any reason to save these?
came across about 5 rolls of unc's. 72's 72d's some 76's in my late dad's stash, might be a few other date's in there havent really looked. spend'em or sell'em ???

Specifically for the 1972's as it is possible that some Type 2's may be in your rolls and I really hate for you to spend these for a buck.

Yes, and the teller was glad to get rid of them. It does happen, occasionally. My best find was about 5 years ago in a rural California bank, I found four original rolls of BU late date Ikes, teller said they had been there in the drawer for years. I have to believe the ones I got this morning came in very recently - lots of stuff that was held onto for awhile is coming back out of the woodwork as the economy shafts.

BTW I live in a state with the highest unemployment rate in the nation, and our local area unemployment is even much higher.

Hello,

In mid October I got $300 worth from my local bank. I was impressed a few of them appeared to be circulated. I finally spent all the ones I did not keep last Thursday.

I even gave out about forty for Halloween.
