    Where is the picture of the 5th box??? I agree I think they are only the boxes and no packs.. Looking at other items he sold, nothing to this value.. Total Scam in my option.

    Looking at the picture of the boxes, looks like a) something is on top of the boxes like a picture frame, and b) I would think the weight of 6 full boxes sitting on top of 3 weatie boxes would be something I would not have done if the boxes are full.

    It is AMAZING to me that this guy sells loads of mostly .99 items and there are actually buyers out there that believe he suddenly has a $50K Mantle.

    You would be suprised.. There was a item I wanted about a week ago and The seller had 83% feedback.. long story short I hit the back button.

    I sent him an e-mail asking if the wax boxes were empty or full. I also asked him for pictures of the packs; front and back. He e-mailed me three pictures. One of the front of a pack, one of the back of pack and a full box. I will post pictures of the packs when I get home tonight because my work will not let me get onto Photobucket (unless someone wants to send me their e-mail address and I will send to you).

    He never answered my question if the boxes were full or not on his reply. I replied back to him asking again if they were full boxes or not. I have not heard anything back yet.

    I asked him for a picture of the top two boxes opened so I can see the condition of the packs inside. I'll post his response.

    Somebody needs to turn this guy in for stating that there is a reserve of 55k for the Mantle, but has not placed a reserve on the auction.

    There's something wrong when he's selling $15,000 wax boxes, never mind 5 of them and a $50,000 Mantle along with soap on a rope and cereal. I didn't bother with the questions, I reported it as misleading.

    Those boxes are empty. Look how they are just sitting up on top of the wheaties boxes. If they were filled with packs they would topple over. I doubt you would balance 40k+ on top of three cereal boxes if theye were real.

    Shawn4842, seller of empty cereal boxes, has had in his possession 2 of the 30 '52 Mantles ever graded PSA 8.

    If he does have the current Mantle, he's costing himself maybe $20K by not putting it with REA.

    Even expert cereal box sellers don't leave that kind of money on the table.

    No way this is legit. I reported the Mantle to ebay right after it was listed, but they seem to believe it.

    Sure, this guy was selling $1 cards exclusively on ebay and then he remembered he had a '52 mantle in PSA 8 and thought, "Hey, this might be worth something."

    yea, and like it wasn't his scamming buddy's or his pet dog's ebay account that "bought" it, to try to build credibility and suck in others on his other auctions
