Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

You can hear trillions & trillions of dollars of debt until you get numb.
One look at the country out of work=brings a whole new light on the mess WE are ALL in!
Thanks MJ for posting this! If it makes anyone upset blame me not the messenger.

Sorta, but not entirely. They declared that "they" were having a problem, thereby making it "our" problem.
The real problems have been caused by an accumulation of bad decisions, starting as long ago as 1999 with the repeal of Glass Steagel, or even further back to 1978 or so with the enactment of the "Community Reinvestment Act".
Now, it's a mess that can't be fixed with simple bailouts. We need a complete change in attitude and mind-set, starting with a real leader.
I knew it would happen.

<< <i>If anyone really thinks times are THAT bad, a Tuesday afternoon trip to your local casino, a Wednesday night visit to your local Bennigins, or a Friday morning stroll through your local shopping mall will ease you back into reality. I actually had to WAIT 20 mins for a table when I went to Olive Garden last week. And you cant get on a blackjack table at the Horseshoe on a Saturday night, even a Tuesday afternoon is tough. The media is making it out to be FAR worse than actuality. >>
Sorry but that dog is not going to hunt. I live in Vegas and you can walk into any of the local casino's on a Saturday night and they look like a ghost town compared to the past. Reno is far worse. I have been into their high end properties and found more employees than gamblers. We have had many resturants close and 6 major food markets just this year. It is that bad. And if you really want to have some fun take a drive around detroit!

Also, at least in the east, counties that contain state capitals seem to be a little more immune.
Lots of state and federal jobs in those areas.

Play the executable file on the map of Alaska and watch Northern Alaska. It appears that unemployment dropped over the same time span that the rest of the country was deteriorating.
This means that one of the ten folks who live there was able to find employment this past year.
I knew it would happen.
