Type2Type2 Posts: 13,985 ✭✭✭✭✭
I Sent a coin in to be attributed and now that Co is not sending me back my coin or puting it on there web site how do I get my coin back? I payed for shiping, Ins and even gave a tip. But now I'am not even geting a response from my P.M's or E-mail's I think 2-1/2 mo. is long enough. I see New 2009 going up but not my coin what should I do? thanks in advance, Type2.

  • Since you stated "for attribution" I'm assuming it was not pcgs or ngc, I hope it was not one of the folks that advertises attribution services that is well known for the situation you described.......

Not PCGS or NGC, Once or twice he did say he was hammered but it looks like I sent it in back in Aug that is some time.

Without even opening the thread, I was going to answer "you have already waited too long". However, now that I have read the OP, I have no idea what you are talking about, so I will withdraw my initial answer and reply "need more information".

I'm about 95% sure I know who you are referring to, as I've been in the same situation with him (albeit years ago). You'll get your coin back but it will be on his time, not yours. My only advice is to be as squeaky a wheel as you can and maybe you can get yourself to the top of the pile.

  • How long should I wait before complaining? I think you are complaining in this post and hopefully the person who has your coin reads this and returns it to you.

What your describing has no place in a professionaly run business and others may wish to avoid this type of treatment. I'm not looking to unnecesarily embarass anyone, but I'd like to know who not to sent coins to for attribution...so I'm PM'ing you.

Why are you protecting this individual? Have you telephoned and discussed it directly? This is poor business practice, and from some of the comments it is not an isolated experience. Take firm measures, send a registered notice of intent to institute legal action. Cheers, RickO

It sounds like you have figured out that he is just busy and works to his own priorities. It may be too late but I would keep my requests professional, and I wouldn't make any public posts that might put him off. --jerry
