    I buy the 1/10th oz's quite regular , i wasnt aware the date made any difference , it doesnt as far as i know as ive gotten different dates at the same price.For the 1/10th oz's ive been paying $130 , last one was 1999 last week.

    The silver eagle with coa does make a difference , almost doubles its value.Id think around 30-40 bucks unless the date makes a difference which it might.

    Greysheet bid on a 1988 proof 1/10th AGE is $176 / $181.

    Thanks all. Yes it's a proof. My friend will be glad to hear this, I was thinking around a $140.00. Glad I kept that to myself and told him I would check with the experts. I'm more knowledgable about silver. Thanks again. Take care. jws

    I sold a 1/10 proof gold eagle for 163 to a member in a matter of 2 seconds and gold was at 1040 or so when I sold it last week.
