Honestly, I picked PSA for one main reason, my belief that there is a magnitude more PSA graded cards out there than any other TPGs.

This means I have a better chance of building consistent mid-grade vintage football sets and doing so at reasonable prices.

The choice of PSA was pretty clear to me.

That said, my confidence in PSA slabs continues to diminish with every fake and switch uncovered.... and PSA's (lack of) response.

Fortunately what I collect is typically not a prime target for scammers, but I have infinitely more confidence in the tamper evident Beckett slab than I do PSA's offering.

    Scott:

You need to get some MOO-Glue... It makes it impossible to tamper with the slab... image

  • Has someone ever suggested to PSA some kind of small internal seal or hologram that would have to be broken if the slab was ever seperated? That is something they could do without having to overhaul their slabs, and I don't even think it would be a huge expense. They are going to have to address the problem sooner or later.

Looking for 1998 & 1998/99 Vince Carter in every variation

<< <i>When a grading company sells its own graded cards in auctions you have to question their ethics and morals. >>

Why is that?? are they doing something corrupt when they have these auctions?? do you have PROOF? if not then it's just the same old bashing with no basis.. >>

It's not bashing. There's an appearance of impropriety and conflict of interest. No proof is required to ask the question. And that question is 100% legit to ask.

Ok Tabe.. and Bobbyvcp.. it's a major sin for bgs to hold auctions that have BGS graded cards...

It's 100% cool for PSA's pack authenticator to sell PSA graded packs which we all know is Steve Hart from BBCE

So unless I'm missing something here then It's also a HUGE conflict of interest for Steve to be selling PSA graded packs right??

Of course I don't think for one second Steve is pulling a fast one as well as I don't believe Beckett is... Show me the proof of wrong doing, then we have a converstion image
  • whenever there is a BGS thread, you know darn well that Dizzle (mr beckett) will defend them to the hilt....

he will argue and fight with anyone to defend his precious beckett....

he only came over here when they blew up their own message board...

i wish they would fix it , then all the kids can go back over there and play with drizzle....

    Wow...troll much?

dizzle raised a good, on topic point. Having no real response, you simply make the same argument that you seem to make on every thread that dizzle posts on. If I didn't know better, I'd think Pujols was jealous that you're giving another so much of your attention.
