Has anyone ever put together a "treasure hunt"?

You know, Planted items in a field and invite people to join in finding the items like an easter egg hunt. Maybe Young detectors. Sounds like fun to me. Would get kids involved into detecting and maybe even coins or historic memorabilia collecting.

our club has nominated me to help new members who do not know how to use they're detectors. i've been thinking of a planted hunt. i'm thinking of burying the targets at various depths to show to difference in tones. another thing to think about is digging techniques and code of ethics.
