As far as the action goes, I know Howard walked, but I think Kershaw should actually get two strikeouts in the box score, as that's how many times Howard should have been rung up in that at-bat.

excellent ballgame - still a wide open series...even if the Phillies win on Friday, I still don't think it's over - Dodgers are tough and hungry, and I'll be surprised if this thing doesn't go 6 or 7 games.

I just informed my boss that my pet cat, Fluffy, is feeling ill and I have to take it to the veterinarian today at 4:00 - I hate to miss work especially in the middle of a multi-million dollar contract that must get finished today or the company will suffer dire consequences...but Fluffy means a lot to me.

The Federal government granted me a timely furlough during the playoff season. Could be called back at any moment but a couple more weeks wouldn't hurt.
