    I am a new collector, mainly coins, but those bars are amazing...and very small (I can afford maybe a 10g!). image
    My wife was in Germany but she couldn't find any Degussa or the bar they now sell at vending machines. Bummer!

    I personally like them because of the unique dimensions. The 10 and 20 gram bars are like little gold bricks, not wafer thin sheets like 99% of all other gold that size. The 50 and 100 gram bars are ingot (trapezoid) shaped, again unlike anything else on the market. The stigma is that Degussa is a German refiner tied to possible stolen Jew gold. But that doesnt bother me in the least.
