where did you purchase the Grocery Wax packs?
  • $50 dlvd is a great price for 6 racks. Well below BBCE's prices.

BBCE doesn't have any grocery racks listed. They have regular racks which contain 48 cards as oppose to 36 in the grocery racks.

Clearly the OP was using the BBCE comparison with regard to the 18 wax pack pricing (which is what 6 grocery racks equate to), not regular rack pack pricing.

Good luck with your sales Michael.

Good thing my comment wasn't directed at the OP then.

PM's replied to (some on hold...plenty still available)

Matt - just picked them up last week at a card auction
(they must have distributed alot of these in the Central PA area back in 1980 - as I had purchased a bunch a few years back)

If anyone is interested in a 1/2 lot (3 grocery packs = 9 wax packs) it would be $27 delivered ($3 a wax pack)

Only rookies that the SMR lists are Otis Anderson and Phil Simms (impressive I know).
