Found a "Lucky Horse Shoe" then found...

Today I was in Jamestown ND after my NG drill and had time before dinner so i took the detector out. Found nothing for nearly 25 mins, then I got a huge hit that was jumping back and forth on my screen so i dug. Nearly a foot down I hit it, a large rusty horse shoe with a few nails still in it, quite old I imagine. Kept it in my pouch for good luck...10 ft away found a 3 gram gold 10K ring with center stone missing. I almost called it a day but kept moving and hit something at the surface, a blackhills gold 10K necklace that weighs nearly 9 grams.

I may take this horse shoe with on my next trip.

You should definitely bring the horse shoe with you wherever you go!

I only found 4 pieces of gold all year, your two in one day is excellent!

Excellent finds. I bet the stone was there too, but you would have to remove the dirt and pan for it. RickO
