Update on Crazy Tony

Alright for the few that have been following crazy Tony user id baseball6645 You know the same guy that had a pristine Tony Gwynn Rookie graded by some off the wall basement slabber for a super low price of only $799.00 lol image Well, little less than two weeks ago September 9 Crazy Tony Decided to buy a 1952 TOPPS #1 BROOKLYN DODGER ANDY PAFKO graded Bccg 6 Good or better. Okay so the card is a psa 2 equivalent or slightly worse? Who really knows?

My question to Crazy Tony, Enjoy!
This card is graded Bccg 6 which means Good or better or similiar in pricing as a psa 2. Am I right or wrong on this? Thanks

I AM SOOY TO SAY THAT YOU ARE WRONG. THIS WHY, I
HAVE SEVERAL CARDS GRADED BY BECKETT THAT ARE
GRADED BCCG "10"'S. BECKETT USES THAT "BCCG" ON
ALL THEIR GRADED CARDS WHEATHER IT'S A
5,6,7,8,9,10.SORRY, I DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU GET
YOUR INFO FROM, BUT MAYBE YOU SHOULD DO A LITTLE
MORE RESEARCH. THANKS, TONY

By the way Crazy Tony types and spells, he possibly might have a fourth grade education... Dang another Craigslist idiot on Ebay!

    That will look good in a pca 10 holder! What is holding you back from crossing it over for only $2.00 you can get it slabbed a 10 gem but you have to slip a Pristine $2 bill in the envelope to get it graded a 10.this should cover the extra zero being printed on the flip.image Now Is that Rizzuto in your Pc or do you want to move that Beauty?

    Sad to say but i think BCCG might be showing where grading is going. Lol. We have on person saying how you can make 1,000,000.00 in one year off it. Is the case an # all that matters. is that why people hate the service? Or what?

    Greetings! Misguided as Crazy Tony may be, you have to give him credit for his firm belief. Judging from his response to your inquiry he TRULY believes that "BECKETT USES THAT "BCCG" ON ALL THEIR GRADED CARDS WHEATHER IT'S A 5,6,7,8,9,10." (And, by the way, that's pronounced WE - AT - HER image .)

    P.S. The funny thing is, if you look closely at the Rizutto, it is, NO JOKE, nicely centered. Left to right looks good and while it is hard to tell, top to bottom looks pretty good as well.

    1952 Topps Andy Pafko Bccg 6 serial #0002131197 After clearly looking at a picture of the back.The card is over graded at Good. Paper loss that extreme would net a psa 1 poor fair. Lol Now Tony, Why did you take a blurry picture and forget to take a picture of the back of the card?? Tony, you seem like one of those Fugazzi's from Craigslist....image I Didn't send this through email.

    This is his response to a question posed of him while the auction was under way:

    Q: just confused 6 is usually ex not good,good is graded as 2,was there a mistake as this doesn't look like a 6

    A: Hi- I've been informed by a few Ebayers that Bccg is Beckett's "low end" grading service. I guess that means it isn't super accurate. I don't want to mislead anyone about that, since I just found this out. So perhaps a "6" in this case, isn't like a strong "PSA 6". It's probably like a ballpark guess that Beckett offers at giving a grade. At least I put up big scans and gave my honest descriptions so people can make up their own minds. Thanks-

    Somewhat off track, but I would think something similar to BCCG grading could be to a reasonable service. Why can there be such small differences between a 9 and 10, while two cards that look hugely different might both grade a 1? For cards that can range from $50 to $5000 based on condition, it doesn't always make sense to lump so many together as "poor." Maybe not for an Ozzie Smith rookie, but for t206 cards or a 1952 Pafko, more gradation at the lower end would be a good thing to offer
