Ok, I found SILVER today, BUT I don't think it can count as #50. Your input needed!

Leave it to me to cause controversy in my simple giveaway, haha.
Ok, First off, on an unrelated note, I found another IHC today. Thought it was a little older than a memorial when I picked it up. Didn't recognize anything until I got home. It's slightly larger than a regular IHC, but I think it got ran over with something. Weighs exactly the same as another IHC I found. After some scratching, looks like it's 1880. Where's all the seated coinage!!!!?? Not sure I can take another green disc.
Ok, here's the dilemma! I offered a giveaway for when I found my 50th silver of the year. I went for a quick trip today and picked up this nice little silver flower. I thought, "now isn't this cool. I wonder what it went to? Looks like there are two solder marks where it was attached to something... Either way this is definitely my 50th piece of the year" (yes, that was foreshadowing).
As I pull in the driveway I remember this piece I found and posted on August 3rd here. So, as it turns out, we have the final piece from something I found over a month and a half ago. Now, the issue is, do we consider the flower as #50, or it is really part of the original find? I'd like to have them reunited and fixed by a jeweler, so I'm not sure they can be considered different finds.
Solder marks fit perfectly. This old pair is finally brought back together!
I need your input! I'm going to try conducting a poll, haha. Whichever option gets the most votes will be the final decision! (never done a poll before, so we'll see if i can get it to work).

It's cool when you can reunite pieces that have broken apart.
I'd say it qualifies as #50 with a special footnote.
Neat finds!
