Bought my first detector

Garrett Ace 250, brand new in strore for $235. Took it home messed with it for a bit. I got hundreds of hits in my yard only dug for nearly all. Found dozen or so nails(I put on a new roof last year), few peices of cans, and a large owl made of aluminum. No treasures yet, but the park across the street is calling my name.

    Congrats on your purchase! From what I hear, the ACE 250 is a great machine. Keep us posted on your finds!

    Well took it out over lunch and found my first coin. A 1972 Nickel....yeah I'm hoked. Oh and found nearly 100 old beer can pull tabs, I'm still digging all solid hits till I get the hang of things.
