    Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio and Mantle, i think berra has to be 5th

    jeter should be in the 2nd 5 perhaps. a lot of rings, hits and memorable moments, capt. and will play his whole carrer in pinstrips with 3000 hits.

    Actually I did see Rose play 2nd base, but at the time the measure of fielding that I knew was fielding %. Obviously we are not going to agree on this, you live in your universe and I live in mine. I prefer rationality myself, but I am aware that some people prefer to live in a fantasy world. Facts are just minor inconveniences where you live.

    I'd put Jeter at 9 and keep Mattingly at 10. Everything else is spot on.

    I agree on Berra.No one goes there anymore its too crowded.Yogi was a legend in his own time.Definitly in top 5 yanks.
