Q: What is the meaning of "household"?

Sorry for the silly question, english is not my mother tongue! image

I was thinking to create an account for my wife, trying to get ready for the Lincoln Chronicle Set if the US Mint sets a limit of 1 per household.
Will this work?

Thanks!
Ciccio

What it means is order one set from home, one set from work, one set from the library, one set from a friends house. Use different methods of payments for each and give different mailing addresses for each.

no, household means everyone and anyone that lives at that home.

It means that you can only order 1 set per address and with that single form of payment.

Thus many credit cards and many addresses will net you more coins!

Household: everyone under that roof at that address.

    1) place more than one order from a single account and they will cancel the order, and some have reported all order being cancelled

    2) open another account with a different name but the same address and they will eventually cancel the orders over their household limit.

you can think of a "household limit" as the "limit for that address."

While we complain about the ordering and shipping problems, they are very good at finding duplicate accounts.

  • Will same name, but different address, and different credit card work?

To do this you must purchase your wife her own house, and have her move out. Then, the mint will accept your order.

this won't work w/ the U.S. Mint since you would need different payment methods, but when I was a kid I remember sending away for some dumb toy that was Free w/ UPC tags that was limit one per household. I ended up getting 4 of them by using my same address... Just added Apt. 1, Apt. 2, Apt. 3 and Apt. 4 after my address and used my pets' names as different first names. Not sure the postal service would go for that anymore though, but I though it was sort of funny image
