Cut card cases

Does anyone know of any other sources for these? The only ones I have seen were thru DA Cardworld, or on their eBay store, but very few of the ones that they had were very appealing, selection-wise.

Thanks,

  • BBCE had some at one time but I think they only had 85 Topps football.

Dacardworld is the only supplier I know of but they are CRAP!!! Run away like your azz is on fire!

I have purchased 3 cases from them and have not pulled a sinlge PSA 10. Ldferg on this forum also bought some 81 cases and only got about 3 PSA 9's and no 10's. Another forum user bought some 84 Topps baseball and not only were the cards crap, the series was not as advertised. The series he received was almost all commons.

I did a 1981 topps cut card case from DA Card world once. A highly mediocre experience.....

This might be a stupid question but what is a cut card case?

Like a vending case but there is no inner 500 count boxes. Just raw cards (8000) from one sheet (A, B, C etc).

If you look on the back of a Topps card you'll see a small letter on it (A, B, C, etc.) and that's what "group" that card is from. Cut card cases are separated in those groups. I was thinking about picking some up until I saw Bill do it. It just seems like a box of banged-up cards to me.
  • glad I read this as I saw these and was a bit intrigued... especially since I'd like a PSA 10 '82 Topps Ryan for my collection... now I know to just buy the darn thing than gamble on a case of these!
  • Thanks for the feedback. I thought that they might be crap since you should get either 33 or 65 of the 1985 Topps Puckett rookies for $150. What to do with the other 8867 cards...

Cut card cases have JUST cards from a single series as mentioned earlier but the reason condition suffers is that they are stacked rather loosely inside a large case, nothing like a vending box. I bought one, and the cards were so bad I just resold it for a loss. Never bought one since.
