Well, it should have almost 4/10s of an ounce of silver in it, but I don't know what its exact market value is.

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." -Luke 11:9

"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might." -Deut. 6:4-5

"For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; He will save us." -Isaiah 33:22
  • Forget the links people.....they are nice and convienent, but theres a better way to do this.

Silver spot price (Kitco, newspaper, etc) X .715 = the face multiplier.

For example, silver is $15.30 lets say.

    $15.30 X .715 = 10.93 So 10.93 X your .50 Kennedy = $5.47 in silver melt content.

The above formula works for all 90% U.S. silver coinage EXCEPT Dollars. Those contain .77oz of actual silver each.

Just memorize this easy formula, and you can calculate silver value in coinage in the middle of a jungle if need be.....if you know the current spot price!image
