Forum Manners....a subject that does need repetition

a. Will this post offend, belittle, or be unduly critical of the management
that so kindly provide us the use of this Forum.

b. Will this post be offensive to individuals on the Forum, causing a complaint to be
logged with management.

Management has been very lenient in allowing Forumites to discuss many issues as long
as they have been tactful and worded in ways as to not cause the hackles to rise on the
powers that be. Please remember, tactfulness and the art of diplomacy are really necessary
tools if one intends to utilize the Forum in the future. I have found that you can discuss almost
anything as long as you are sensitive to the feelings of all involved as well as the powers that be.
Tweeking the lions whiskers can be a most dangerous sport indeed.

I need only to remind one and all , of the late, lamented, Open Forum.

How is this for customized Google Ads:

Re: Slabbed coins - There are some coins that LIVE within clear plastic and wear their labels with pride... while there are others that HIDE behind scratched plastic and are simply dragged along by a label. Then there are those coins that simply hang out, naked and free image

    KISS (Keep it simple stupid).

Just follow the Golden Rule (treat others as you would like to be treated [unless you are a mashochistimage]) when you are posting on the forums and civility will be the general tenor of the place.

To the extent that you have a problem with someone else, try to avoid coming down hard on the person in public unless and until you find that other methods of resolving the problem do not work [i.e., PM or email].

Doing so will help keep our gracious hosts satisfied that we are not abusing their hospitality. Thanks PCGS and CU for hosting the forums image

BTW, I do miss some aspects of the Open Forum.

I agree that everyone should think before hitting the "send" button... would you really say whetever it is you're about to say on this forum to the face of someone standing in front of you? If you did... what would you realistically expect the response to be? That being said, I think it's a sad state of affairs that supposed adults need to be reminded of this.

It is hot in Southern Ca. All Bears should take a dip in the pool.
