good feathers; good hair; clean cheeks/fields. what more could you ask for? 65. Unless the photo is not telling the truth.

Hard to tell from that angle. It appears though that the photo is hiding some bagmarks on the cheek, the hair, and on the eagle's breast. Would not surprise me at all if it turned out to be a low MS coin.

The strike looks good, there are no deep scratches, and as long as the luster is as good as you say it is MS65.

I would have guessed 64 from first set of images. I see a 63 from the 2nd head on images.

In my eyes, it is no better than an MS62, but on a good day, you might score an MS63.

I would grade it MS-64. There are no deep marks, but there are some general disturbances in the left field of the obverse and a couple of light marks on the cheek. This date tends to come nice so the graders can be tough on this one.

there's no chance for an ms65.

    ms63 or maybe ms64.

Well, if you consider this MS65, then either I'm out of touch or you need to go back to grading school. It seems to me that MS64 would be very generous even on a good day. So, I'll say MS63.

Borderline 63/64, probably 64 with the TPGs since this is a common date and with the Morgan series the more common dates in high grades get the benefit of the doubt a lot more than dates where there is a big value gap between the grades.

From those images, it looks like the luster has been mostly dipped away. I vote MS63.
