V3

I purchased the White's Spectra V3 yesterday... and it has been raining ever since....image Oh well... spent several hours with the dealer learning it and doing demonstrations... what a machine. Now, when the weather clears, I will apply the tested formula of patience, practice and persistance and see what treasures I can find. Cheers, RickO

Good luck...You have another day of rain expected, I believe, but it did finally stop raining and I was able to open my window up a while ago, so you never know!

Got out for a little while yesterday afternoon... found a zincoln at 9 inches in my backyard...image Not much, but just learning this machine...it is user friendly, but takes some 'operating time'. Cheers, RickO

Do you think a DFX with the same coil would have found it too?

Jesse, that is an interesting question... I did not do a comparison with my DFX... it would have been informative. I was so busy 'learning' the V3 it did not occur to me. I have a D2 for the DFX, so possibly it would have picked it up. Perhaps I will try, at some future opportunity, to do some comparisons.. Cheers, RickO
