Digi- I was rooting for the Giant's yesterday. Darn it. I thought they had a good chance with Cain going. Oh well. No more rooting for the Giant's. I think they play the Dodger's now.

That kid De La Rosa has had nothing but success with the Giants all year. It's also worth noting that this guy started the season 0-6, but then has gone on a 15-3 terror ever since.
Ya know, the funny thing is, if the WC is still close with the last 3 games to go.... The Dodgers will have a hand in picking who wins the wildcard, as they've got the Rockies in LA for the last 3 games of the regular season.
Boch needs to do something. Edgar Renteria is playing hurt and it's affecting his game. He's scheduled for surgery after the season's over. He's been useless this month. BUT, if there's a lefty on the mound, Boch trots him out.
I liked it in the past few games where they benched Renteria and put Uribe at short. That let them leave Panda at 3rd and put Ishikawa at 1st. Ishikawa's bat has been better than Renteria by a long shot this month.
Sigh. I really hope the Giants make a major off-season pick up, because all this shuffling around every game is getting really old.
Crap, what a time for the whole pitching staff to slump!
In the last 4 games, the Giants starters have lasted a combined 13.1 innings pitched, and have surrendered 22 runs. They did manage to win yesterday, and today's game isn't over, but it doesn't look good.
<< <i>It's not over yet... 4 games back in the wildcard. >>
Giants could have been 3 back tonight, but the 97 mph Brian Wilson fastball that usually blows guys away ended up getting planted in the left field bleachers.
Now the Giants are behind the Braves AND the Rockies.
Sigh. Back in college, sometimes, before big tests, I'd get this build up of anxiety over doing well on the test. Well, usually at some point, it'd break and would go from "I hope I do well" to "F* it, lets get it over with." That's how I feel about this season.
The Giants lost last night, that was tough to watch. The Giants lost tonight, and I let out a sigh, then changed the channel.
It's been a great, surprising ride, but they are going to fall just short. Maybe add a bat in the offseason and come back next season to win the West.

The final game ended well, with a game winning shot in to deep center from the Kung Fu Panda.
The rise of Pablo Sandoval as a star and the domination of the Giants starting rotation and the bullpen has been great this season. We didn't make the playoffs, but the progress that the team's made will make SF a good destination for a free-agent power hitter. Last year, no one wanted to come here since the team was going no where, and Barry Bonds was still a fresh memory.
I just hope the Giants make the move they need. Personally, I'd love to see Adrain Gonzalez playing 1st for the Giants next year. Ishikawa doesn't look like he's going to get much better, and Garko is a total joke.

Now, all Tim Lincecum needs to do is learn how to hit homers, and we'll be set!

7-2 against the Dodgers on Sunday,
9-1 against the Rockies on Monday,
10-2 against the Rockies on Tuesday.
AND, Randy Johnson has been activated for work out of the bullpen. It'll be interesting to see how that pans out.

Season's not over, but the Giants have a tough hill to climb.

Great. At least Bumgarner and Posey haven't killed anyone.
